Julia Pearl is an innovative educator, wellness consultant and professional speaker. With a Master of Science in healthcare delivery from Arizona State University and over 20 years working in the fitness industry, Pearl’s scholarly education and extensive experience make her a distinguished wellness expert. Through evidence-based research, advance skill and first-hand knowledge Pearl has developed exclusive wellness programs that focus on physical, mental, spiritual and emotional health.
Pearl thrives on sharing her passion for health and wellness with others and has devoted over 20,000 hours to working with clients in yoga, group fitness and personal training. She has developed a specialization in wellness speaking by providing personalized messages tailored for various groups over the past 20 years and believes that inspirational education is an essential component of behavior change.
As a lecturer within the School of Nutrition and Health Promotion at ASU, Pearl creates and delivers innovative curriculum to help students develop into successful health professionals. Pearl is an ASU certified health and wellness coach, an American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) certified personal trainer, an Aerobics Fitness Association of America (AFAA) certified group fitness instructor, a Yoga Alliance Certified Education Provider and a Yoga Alliance Experience Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT), a certification that requires 5,000 hours of training.
As a working mother raising three boys, she teaches from personal experience about the challenges of juggling work/life balance. She is passionate about educating, empowering and inspiring healthcare professionals about the significance of self-care. She provides practical techniques to improve and enhance well-being so that you can be the best for your clients, patients, loved ones, and most importantly yourself- ultimately creating and enjoying and fulfilling life!
